Two weeks ago the design team here at Studio 104 went to explore the London Textile Fair in search of beautiful fabrics for our designer uniforms.
Held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, the fair is a chance to catch up with our wonderful fabric suppliers. They are always so interested in our latest projects, and enjoy hearing about our designs.
The mission of the day was to find durable fabrics, with luxury qualities, that our clients would love in their bespoke and custom uniforms. We take the research and design stage extremely seriously, and having a great supplier base for fabrics is so important for us.
Walking into the fair the buzz of excitement hits you, over the two days fabric mills and fabric agencies present their AW15 fabric collections. From colourful jacquards and tweeds like these gorgeous creations…
…To luxurious Polywools for durable tailoring like these samples that we loved.
The micro dogtooth fabric reminds us of our favourite show from London Collections: Men; Joshua Kane’s quintessentially British collection.
This week all the samples that our design team selected from the fabric mills have begun to arrive in the studio.
These are some of our favourites, with some futuristic laser cut fabric that is a great inspirational fabric that could help to develop a whole bespoke and custom uniform collection!
Needless to say the samples are still flying in, so keep an eye out for some of these beautiful fabrics to be developed into one of our many upcoming uniform designs!
