Studio 104 jumped at the chance to create a glamorous uniform range for famous restaurant Quaglino’s. A favourite with the capital’s top celebrities – and host to Royalty – the restaurant has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment. Quaglino’s was the first restaurant at which the Queen dined publicly so we knew they wanted to maintain the elegance and glamour of its rich heritage.
Taking inspiration from the chic Quaglino’s cigarette girls of the 90s, Studio 104’s creative team designed an iconic, couture hostess dress which has fast become a talking point at Quaglino’s.
Luxury suiting contrasts with satin lapels and evening trouser stripes while liquid gold geometric jacquards create a glamourous cabaret feel. The gold and black Art Deco-inspired palette and the geometric patterning evoke the restaurant’s glamourous past and are carried seamlessly through the whole uniform range.
Studio 104 was awarded with ‘Best Managed Contract’ by the Professional Clothing Awards for the professional and seamless manner in which we serviced the Quaglino’s contract.
Speaking about Studio 104, Paul Jenkins, Purchasing Director at D&D London, said:
“There is nothing that Studio 104 cannot achieve when it comes to uniform. They bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The team worked well under pressure and understood the flexibility needed to pull off such a high-profile launch. The end result is a stunning uniform range that works as a practical uniform solution”.
